To my dearest friend, LukieDukie, I wish you all the best. I hope you had a wonderful Halloween and 2 yr. Birthday. Hope you got free of those bandages. You poor thing!

If you haven't seen or met my friend Luke, check him out ~here~ and two of my favorite photos below:

Trick or Tweat????

Happy Halloween to all my kitty and people friends.

It's me, Monkey, in disguise. Did I trick you? heh heh

As you already know, I'm not the costume or clothes wearin', or prop usin' "type of cat", but my Mommy insisted, she swears, I look "fierce"! (I think that has multiple meanings.)

Anyway, be safe, enjoy the day and stay inside, if at all possible.

Arrggh! heh heh heh (giggling)

Meditating Monkey

To myself: Ahhh, privacy. (Eyes getting sleepy.)

[["THUMP""]].....[Sound of Cooper chirping.]

To myself: Please, no. Please, no. (My ears perk up....I sit up and see Cooper.)

Me: What is it, Cooper?

Cooper: Nothin'. Just checkin' on ya.

Me: I'm good. Thank you.

Cooper: Monkey, are you sure you don't want a bubble bath?

Me: I told you, no bubble bath.

Cooper: Mommy likes it.

Me: Cooper, Mommy's a girl!

Cooper: But I like bubbles too!

Me: Cooper, you are a girl! That's why you like it. Now scootchies!!!!! (Argh!!)

Me: Can you believe her?

Me: Now where was I? Oh yeah!

Napkin Holder Doubles as Pillow

Tonight, Daddy was cleaning out the Tuppeware cabinet. I hopped inside.
I found a dark narrow path which lead me up to the drawer.
I heard Mommy calling out to me, but I didn't want to move.

Um, yeah, she found me. Found me sleeping on her pot holders and napkins. Kitchen Monkey

Supervised Balcony Visits

Daddy let me roam free out on the balcony! (oh yeah, Coop was there too!)

Although Daddy was in Hawk Mode, 'cuz we were in Explorer Mode, it was still pretty cool.

90% of the time, we're inside our Penthouse, but today was special. For some reason, Daddy let us be free-birds.
I'm sure it helped that Mommy wasn't home. heh heh
We were definitely free. Free to sniff Mr. Ficus. Free to see the pot where Mr. Ficus usually sits.

I was tempted to jump over to the balcony next door, but thought better of it. So, I behaved.

We knew Daddy wasn't going to let us roam free forever, so we covered a lot of ground in a little time.

Cooper and I kept our eyes peeled for birds.

Our noses, were working overtime, taking in as many scents as we could.

After a while, I went back inside the penthouse. I was ready for a snooze.

Daddy was very proud of us and gave us treats, just before I drifted off to sleep.

Coop, of course, wasn't too far behind. Double nap time!!!

Monkey Poser

Pre-Cooper: Me, in MY tent. MY chillaxin’ pose.

Along comes Cooper: She, in what is now OUR tent.

Still, that's MY chillaxin’ pose.

It's time for the next generation to be leaders, not followers.....Wait, actually, as long as I'm the leader, it's ok. (Blue tent - 2nd Gen.)

Somber Monkey

To all my friends who visit my blog and leave me messages whenever possible, please forgive my absence the last few days. I know you don't require an explanation of me, but as loyal as you are, I would like to give my reasons.

A very, very close kitty friend of mine, ~Simba~ is a bit under the weather. This worries me very much. She is currently nursing a case of Colitis and a UTI. There are further test results pending.

My little Simba and her family are in need of good happy thoughts and prayers. Please, please, please send them her way.
(Here is one my favorite pictures of Simba.)

Here is a picture I hope will bring a smile to her Mommy's face. Which then will just make her Mommy give her lots of kitty loves from me!
Thanks so much for visiting my blog. Your, MonkeyBunkey

Birthday Wishes, Monkey Style

Today is the birthday of two of my closest friends. They are ~Kazumi Joy~ and ~Scooter~. Aside from being best friends, they share the same birthday, October 23rd. Isn't that cool? They have always been so sweet and so kind and so loving to me. They are two special special girls. Their friendship brings me great joy. They are two of the greatest kitties I know. I love them so much and I know they are loved by many.

Happy Birthday to my KJoy and ScootyBooty. I wish you both the best in health and happiness. I am sending you all of my love and wishing I could deliver kitty loves, nuzzles, snuggles, smooches, purrs, and more all in monkey(person). (a monkey can dream.)

Here are their pictures (KJoy on the left and ScootyBooty on the right). How beautiful are they? No, really. How beautiful?

Thanks for always being wonderful friends to me. You have both been so supportive in anything I do. You're always there to listen and guide me. I love you both and I value your friendship so so much!

Always thinking of you both, your MonkaBunk-MonkeyBunkey-Monkey

Monkey Wants his Box

me: Hello???

cooper: *hmmm*
me: What do you think you're doing girl???

Pause.......

me: You are so busted!
cooper: *chirp*

me: Mommy made this box for me. Not you! Now scootchies!
cooper: *chirp*

me: Yeah, I know Mommy said I had to share. But, I had planned on using the box right at this very moment. Why do you think I came over here? Duh!

me: It's all yours when I'm through. Now, come on out of there! cooper: *chirp*

me: Yeah, yeah. The moment I step out of the box, I promise to say, *I'm done*. Clock is ticking, so scootchie, maruchees sister!

me: Catch ya on the flip side! heh heh heh

to myself: That Cooper. She's always getting into my things. I'd better find everything nice and neat. (I look around. Remember I left my rabbit fur toy here earlier.) Uh-oh. (I focus on the corner.)

me: My rabbit fur toy! Right where I left it!

to myself: Ho hum. (pause..) What was I gonna do? (pause)

me: Oh yeah. Nothing. I just wanted her out! (I glance around one more time)

me: Um, yeah, I'm officially bored now.

to myself: Let's make sure she's not waiting to come back in. Ahh yeah. She sleeping outside.

to myself: Victory!

In a low voice, so she doesn't hear me: Ok. I'm done!

Bathroom Bunk Bunkey Business

I can't seem to get enough of my bathroom bunk. I spend so much time in there it's pretty unbelievable. I'm either resting in there comfortably, or I'm sound asleep.

Mommy hasn't had to waste time looking for me, 'cuz it my new hang out. As a matter of fact, when I'm done with this post, I'm going right back.

It's prime location is what's most appealing. I have a view of almost the entire apartment. If I look out to my right, I can see down the hallway to the bedroom.

If I look in the other direction, I can see the hallway, living room, and Daddy's desk, which is just in front of the kitchen.

Believe me, it's completely the coolest. It sure beats someone sneaking up on me. I can keep the whole place under constant surveillance. Yeah, that's if I'm not sleeping! It's nice, quiet and cozy. It's almost, almost perfect. Just up until, "click", someone turns on the light!

Monkey Messed Up

Do I look annoyed? No? Yes? Well I am. I changed my blog settings in regards to format, etc. Yeah, well, I done screwed up a bunch of them. I didn't know it was gonna change existing entries. Oy vay!

So, if you happen to see any older postings and they look hair ball, I'll be fixing them as soon as I can. At least, you know I'm new at this blog thing and it's obvious I don't know what I'm doing half the time, so please don't think badly of me.

Oh wait! Can I please tell you??? Whatever changes I made, fixed my problem!

So, in the meantime, here I am sitting in a box, trying desperately to hide my shame!

Grandiose Plans for Monkey

This afternoon, I wanted to tackle the items on my "To Do List". The first thing I had to do was prioritize. Since it was hard to focus in the living room, I went to sit behind Daddy where it was quiet. I took a few deep breaths. I closed my eyes. BAM, instantly I had a plan! Man, today was gonna be huge!!!

Feeling a little overwhelmed, I put my head down for a bit. I think that's when I began getting sleepy.

I tried to fight it, but the more I kept thinking about what I had to do, the sleepier I got. Before I knew it, I had fallen asleep!

When Daddy moved his chair, he woke me up. It was already dark outside. It was too late to do anything at that point. Oh well, maybe tomorrow will be huge.

Good intentions, bad follow-through.

It's Cooper, Comfy and Cozy

In case you don't know my little sister Cooper, here she is. We are celebrating her 1 yr. birthday Saturday night on Catster. Yes, another MonkeyBunkey Production.

In addition to throwing a party for her, I am posting these very darling pictures of her as a token of my deepest affection. For a younger sister, whom I love to beat up, I will say, she is pretty cool.

My parents dig her 'cuz she's lovey dovey. She digs snuggling and is very affectionate. I'll give her that! She needs to be good at somethings, right? Yeah, yeah, she's got other skills, but really, we don't need to get into all of that.So Cooper, here's to you my little babygirl. You know when it comes to horsing around and making our parents nuts, I'm your boy! I wish you all the best. I couldn't ask for a better sister, honest! I'm so glad that you are a part of my life. Happy 1st Birthday, you booboo-girl.
