Monkey - Fish Investigation Results

We should put this girl behind bars. Cooper is totally busted.

She's the one that scratched Mr. Plecos the fish. That's right. She did it!

Daddy busted her up there a few times this week.

She won't be putting her paws in there again. I guarantee it!

Monkey - Mommy Has it Rough

Mommy and Daddy are fish sitting. Luckily we have a small tank for way wards, injured and pregnant and babies.

One of our resident fish is a Pleco, he's usually known as a sucker fish. Mommy noticed today he had a big scratch on his face, but no one knows how it got there.

Mommy had to separate him from all the other baby fish to make sure no one beats up on him.

Poor Mommy, she takes care of everyone. Fish, Kitty & People.

Monkey - House Keeping

Today, Mommy put new sheets on the bed. I got to help. It was just like when I was a little young bucky. I would help Mommy make sure the sheets were perfectly crooked, bunched up and no where near being able to bounce a quarter off. Heh Heh

Once the cozy blanket got thrown on, my duties as assistant were over.

When that warmth hits the spot, there's nothing like it. Time to snooze.

Monkey-Happy Monkey

Finally. Finally. Finally! Can I please tell you?

It was the bestest surprise ever.

Cooper was shocked. I was shocked. Mommy was shocked.

Daddy walked in and surprised us all.

Finally. Daddy was home.

First thing I did was inspect his suitcase.
Yep, Monkey. Always on the case! Suit-case that is! Heh Heh

Monkey Begins Search

Today is coming and going. Still no sign of Daddy. I'm done watching birds. I've had my dinner. It's definitely time for Daddy to be home. Waiting is so lame.

I've searched high.

I've searched low.

I guess I'll just have to wait. Bummer.

If for some reason, you see my Daddy. Tell him to come home soon cuz I sure do miss him.

Monkey Waits

Mommy took the trash out tonight. I followed her out into the hallway.

I decided to start watching out for Daddy.

Mommy said he comes home tomorrow.

I knew it was a ways away, but you never know these days. It is possible that he could come home early.

What? It can happen.

So, I hung out there for awhile.

Seriously though, it felt like I was out there for a long time.

And...nothing.

No sign of him.

I sniffed around, to see if I could still catch his scent.

Nope. Nada.

So, I tried to relax and think good thoughts. Even though I could hear Mommy calling me in the background.

I held my position.

Yeah, that wore of really soon. I started getting sleepy.

Really sleepy.

I gave up.

When he's ready, he'll be here. I'll be waiting.

Pssst. I can't wait!

Monkey - Keepin' Eye

Here I am watching traffic, kids and a dog out by the pool. None of them were that exciting so I didn't stay there long.

I'm glad I'm not a patrolman, this would bore me. I like action!

Monkey - Call for Dinner

What? Did I just hear the dinner bell?

Cooper, did you hear that too?

I imagine she is saying, "you know it."

Monkey Relax Day

Mommy took the afternoon off to spend with me....and Cooper. We mostly napped all afternoon and it was quite lovely.

At one point, I decided the bathroom hamper was the place for me.

Monkey - Minus Daddy

So my Daddy has been gone for 3 days now.

He went to Puerto Vallarta for the week.

I know right?

Here we are, all alone.

It's been very stressful for Mommy, 'cuz she hates that we're alone during the day.

I know she tries to visit us on her lunch, but she doesn't have too much time and still feels guilty.

I knows she thinks we are sad and lonely, but I think we're doing just fine. I mean, we pretty much sleep all day anyway.

As long as we have access to the kittycoop, we're just fine.

Here is Cooper doing what she loves to do when Daddy is away. Sleep by his desk.

Me? I just hang out with Coopie and do the same thing.

Sleep.

Mostly though, I spend a lot of time watching birds.

I guess it must be rough leaving us alone, since we never spend time alone ever!!!

Poor Mommy. She shouldn't fret. I don't think it bothers us much. We have each other and that's better than a lot of other kitties out there, right?

Back in Monkey Business

They are so cool to watch. Plus, I sorta blend in with my bed, so the little birdies have no clue I'm so close to them. Heh Heh
