Monkey Laptop Issues

First and foremost, I'd like to express my deepest apologies for being offline for so long. At least, it's seemed like a long time to me. AM having serious difficulties with my laptop and it's about to die. Really. Like at any moment. Stay with me, I'll be back when I get a new one, a few days after this dies. Hopefully.

Smother Monkey Sunday

Mommy pounded me down today with kisses and hugs and brushies and it was nonstop.

It was cool with me, 'cuz when she'd take a break from all that lovin' on me, I'd nap.

Monkey Bugged

Storage Monkey

Yep, here I am. In a storage box. This one is plush though. I actually thought about taking an early evening nap. So that's what I'm gonna do.

Monkey Spies Cooper Spying

The other day, Cooper and I were in the room taking naps. She got up to stretch when she noticed a big black crow flying outside the window.

She kept her eyes on him even after he landed 3 Floors below, down by the pool.

She was in a trance.

Even tweats couldn't make her look away.

Now she knows how I feel when my pretty turtle dove comes to visit me.

Monkey & Stitch

One of Mommy's friends hits a home run again!

This little fellow you see here has recently been adopted by Mommy's friend. Mommy calls her friend "Wheels". Well, Wheels is a man who adores animals. Especially kitties. Rescues and ferals. He rescued this little guy, whom he named Stitch, from a shelter in LA.He got his name, Stitch, from the stitches he had on his bottom. You see, Stitch has no tail.

Having no tail doesn't stop him from climbing, jumping, flying, soaring, leaping, falling, crashing, etc. I think it just makes him stronger! heh heh

Mommy, of course, got a care package together and gave it to Wheels for Stitch. Stitch was asleep when Mommy went to visit. When Stitch woke up, his Daddy Wheels, showed him all his new stuff. He got some new bowls, some food and tweats, a brand new bed. A ton of my toys, new and old. Also, one of my reserved tents and a warm and cozy blanket. The list is endless. Mommy's a freak!

Oh yeah, Cooper wants me to mention HER crinkly ball too!

Well, Wheels and Stitch get a long very well and are happily living in Marina Del Rey, California. He has a huge place to run around and he has a climber that goes from the floor to the ceiling! Taller than mine! That's unbelievable.

Anyway, I'm just here reporting a new adoption that took place in our circle of friends. I'll keep you posted on his adventures.

Monkey Box in a Box

Daddy got a cool box in the mail today. When he opened the box there was a smaller box inside of it. Once Daddy opened both boxes, he said, "There you go boo!". Then he walked away.

How cool of Daddy to order boxes just for me. I mean, he didn't take them with him when he walked away. So they have to be for me.

Along side the sliding glass door, behind the couch, is a warm spot, just perfect for taking a nap. That's just what I did. All day! Hope you all have a great week.

Monkey Field Trip

Mommy took me on a sleep over last week. I had so much to explore I didn't get any sleep. That's for sure. I got to do things I'd never done before. Like, climbing on top of the refrigerator.

I found the tile floor fascinating. It was cool against my paws. It worked well as a back scratcher too!

I got to climb up on the window sill when I was chasing a bug! I actually caught two bugs that night. Heh Heh

If I got up on my hind legs, I could see the birds on the other side of the fence.

There were also two parrots in the yard next door.

I didn't sleep much that night, 'cuz there was too much to see. At 4am, I was still looking out the window.

Finally, around 6am I decided to get some rest.

Today was a great day! Hope it's a great weekend for all of us!

No, we did not steal this cart from the super market. It belongs to the building we live in.

It was in our living room 'cuz Mommy uses it to do laundry.

Except when Cooper jumped in it Daddy put a pillow in there for her to lay down on.

As you can see, I took over the cart.

I had to. I was helping Mommy.

This is another one of my Mousies on a String. Not sure how many I have.

Mommy brings me a new one every week, practically. It's cool. I can't complain.

Sometimes I just like to play with the stick instead of the mouse. Ya know? Give the mousie a break.

I was sitting by the door when I saw a little birdie landed underneath the bench outside.

I could have pounced and scared him away, but then I would have nothing to look at. Instead I sat there staring at it.

Excuse the mess and the lack of quality in these photos, but check me out! This is my super cool, "bad to the bone", "tricked-out" kitty condo, Daddy made for me.

It's got lots and lots of hiding room and space.
It's pretty dark underneath the canopy and it's perfect for jumping out and pouncing on any "walkerbyers".

It's pretty cool to be in this spot,'cuz nokitty can sneak up on me and I'm in an awesome "pounce" position. (always ready, babeh!)

Yeah, it's good to be king.
