Don't Feed the Monkey

I know I'm not a crayfish, nor am I turtle and I'm certainly not a fish. I can't help it though we have the same taste in food.

Well, when Daddy misses the tank and pieces of their food fall on the floor, just know that I'm the one to clean it up.

This picture was taken just as I was about to nosy around the new batch Daddy brought home! Yeah, I got busted. No big. He'll miss!

Monkey's Midnight Snack (Almost)

Last night, I caught a little mouse out on the balcony.

Before I knew it, he started negotiating with me. I started knodding off then became distracted as the church bells began to strike midnight.

I was wondering if this little chap might turn into something!!!
Then I realized I was thinking of a nursery rhyme. Heh Heh

Ooh wee, the late hours were gettin' to me.
So I looked at him once more, not listening to a word he said, and I went back inside.

I must have been delirious, 'cuz when I went to bed, I thought.....what a perfect midnight snack I let go free!

Little Monkey Memory

When I was a young bucky, I was fascinated with my back kickers. I loved wrestling with my favorite cow and/or Mommy's hands. Ya know, just like parents aren't supposed to let you do? Heh heh

Pictured here are my favorite bed and blanket! The bed now belongs to Cooper. She sleeps in it every night. My blankie, well, it's part of my Dresser bed now and I sleep on it every night.

Always trusting Mommy and Daddy, I have always given up da'bellies for rubs, tickles and smooches.

Back Seat Monkey

Here I am ridin' in the Lexie with Mommy. I was chillin' in the back, up high so I could see.

We were cruisin' down Wilshire Boulevard when we got stuck at this really long light.

Mommy said the lady behind us was waving at me. I didn't notice.

There were lots of people walking by in front of the car. Where was everyone going?

I sat there quietly watching birds over at the bus stop eating crumbs off the sidewalk.

Just then, we heard a loud thump. A bicycle crashed into a shopping cart right in front of the car!

There was so much going on.

Finally, the light changed.

As we drove off, a noisy bus went by and scared the birds away.

I saw the birds take off in flight, as the crumbs blew into the street.

That was cool!
I totally love riding in the car.

Couch Potato

Cooper was asleep when I passed her on my way to investigate the new couch.

Not five seconds later, guess who runs over to sit on the new couch?

You see.......?? You see what I have to put up with?

Immediately, a plan of attack starts bouncing around in my head.

So.......I make my way over there and just as I'm about to POUNCE on HER.....she does this thing she does.....(see pic.)

How am I supposed to NOT lose my mind and want to bonk her on the head?

Monkey's Hiding

Playing Hide and Seek with Mommy was fun up until Cooper gave my hiding spot away.

Maybe I should play with Cooper and tell her she has to count to 1000.

Maybe I should make her hide while I count to a million!
That would give me plenty of time to play with Mommmy, without Cooper interrupting!

Sleepy Monkey on Sunday

Sunday errands with Mommy pooped me out. First we went to Petco. That's always a fun trip. Then we went to get coffee.

We got home and I went outside to catch some zzzzz's. Sometimes, it's just so good out on the balcony, I never want to get up.

I'm waiting for the sun to go down. Then, and only then will I go inside. It's such a lovely day!

Strollin' Again

So today I went on a stroller ride with Cooper and Mommy. We didn't go very far, but we were out long enough to see some birds, squirrels and lots and lots of leaves were blowin' around. Cooper mostly sat still the whole time. Do you know what the odds are of that happening?? ~Monkey from the road

Curiosity....Sometimes I wonder!!! I wonder what something is. I wonder what it does. I often wonder why Cooper has to get in the middle of everything?

If she would only move away from the situation instead of putting herself right smack dab, in the middle!

With her around, it sure is difficult to get things done.

I'll just have to bonk her later for getting in my way!

Monkey Hide Out

Today Mommy brought home a new box. The lid was half way on so I hopped in to hide.

Wouldn't you know it? A short while later Cooper came noseying around. I saw her little white paw reach inside the box.

I turned around so quickly, ready to pounce out of the box, but the lid flew off which then scared Cooper so she took off in the other direction. heh heh Then, Mommy put the lid back and on and off I went to napsville in my new box...undisturbed.
