Mommy brought these two cats home tonight. Yeah, these two monkey imposters. Yeah, they're cute, but I mean, really??? How cute?
I think they were a little intimidated by me, 'cuz when Mommy sat them down next to me, they didn't peep once.
After a few failed attempts at getting a conversation going, I gave up.
Maybe they'll be ready to talk tomorrow.

Mommy knows I like boxes, no matter how small. This one here, felt more like a one cat garage. Well, not so much, b'cuz the back end of my vehicle was sticking out.

(In an alley, that can be dangerous.) Mommy thought she should make some minor adjustments. So she tried to make it more roomy.

Once I pulled all the way in, my front end was sticking out, along with my rear end!

Wouldn't you know "critters" began showing up almost immediately.

Remember kitties: Keep the garage door closed!

I'm sure by now, everykitty knows who ~Simba~ is right? Well she's a very very darling kitty friend who has a very very big heart.

This afternoon Mommy brought me another package that came in the mail! It was from Simba. Mommy was so excited she had to open it herself. (She wasn't around when I got my package from Rocky Ann). So I let her open it! Guess what was inside? You'll never guess. Ok, give up? A Catnip Banana! Just like Rocky Ann gave me! Boy did I go nuts...all over again!

How did Rocky Ann and Simba end up getting me the same present? A banana for me? I know why.............they must of been up there own monkey business when the saw it and they must have thought of me. They wanted to share in their fun, so what's more appropriate for a monkey like me? Bananas! I go bananas all the time!

Simba, you sneaky sneaky! Then Mommy pulled out tweats and Kitty Caviar! You are too too kind! BTW, those salmon tweats are my favorite now!

Monkey Goes....Banana

When Daddy put a small box in front of me this afternoon and before opening it, I was going bananas.

I was sniffing the box.
I was scratching the box.
I was moving the box.
I was climbing on and off the box.
If I were a dog, I would have barked at it!

When Daddy opened the box, I snuck my head in and grabbed the first thing I could with my teeth! I actually snatched it and ran off with it.

Daddy came to find me chewing the plastic bag off. Guess what was inside??????

You give up? Ok, it was a Catnip Banana!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before Daddy could get the wrapper off, I picked it up and threw it in the air and chased it. Then I picked it up again and wrestled it to the floor. Daddy tried to grab it, but I ran off with it. When Daddy didn't follow me, I ran back into the room and threw my banana at him. He threw it across the room and I ran after it. I returned with it a short while later, out of breath. Going bananas is a lot of work!

Monkey Minus Laptop

Mine and Mommy's laptops went to the PC doctor on Friday night for a check-up. Except Saturday morning Mommy hurt her neck and forgot she had to pick up our laptops. Boy were we miserable.
To keep me amused, she helped me build a compound so I could barricade myself inside.

I refused to come out until she went back to pick up the laptops.

There I sat, for three days.

Until now, I'm back. Did anykitty miss me?

I sure missed all of you.
Now, back to MonkeyBusiness

Deputy Cooper

If you have yet to see my little sister, Cooper, in her cowboy hat....brace yourselves....Mind you, this is not a costume for Halloween.

Ya well, this "hat juncture" has going on for almost a week. I heard something about a pony, but thank goodness no one else did. She doesn't even know what Honky Tonk means. I mean, come on! (I don't either.) Miss. Future Rodeo Star, hmph! She's afraid of cows so I don't know what she's talking about!....(looking at Cooper with her hat on)...(giggle)....ok, ok, she does where it well. There I said it. Now can we please give her a new toy?

Monkey Sleeps

Finding a new nap spot was easy once I got into the pantry. First thing I found was a nice little corner with plenty of room. It was dark. Quiet. Peaceful. So, I got comfortable and napped all afternoon. Eventually, the pantry pest woke me up......Cooper!!!
