Moping Monkey
Well, Mommy, Cooper and I just got back from dropping Daddy off at the airport. Yep, he's gone. He won't be back for 6 whole days. He hasn't left town since I was a little bucky. My sister Cooper hasn't ever gone a day without Daddy and tomorrow will be her first. Wish us luck, we'll be on our own all day. Mommy said she'd be home for lunch, but I mean geesh, you'da thought she'da taken the next week off to stay home with us, hello??? Actually, she doesn't need to do that, we'll be fine. I keep telling her but she doesn't listen.
I mean don't get me wrong, Mommy is a great Mommy and she gives us tons of love, it's just that Daddy plays with us during the day and I guess that's what I'll miss most.
Guess Cooper and I will have lots of naps during the day so we'll be ready to party and play with Mommy as soon as she opens the door. We'll keep her busy all night until she goes to sleep. She'll love that, I'm sure!
At least I now have Coop to hang with. It sure beats staying home alone right? Right!

You have our sympathy and we send our cuddles and nuzzles to help you get through the days.
It CAN be a season of opportunity though...just think of all the mischief you can get up to while Mommy and Daddy are away and enjoy playing with things they never usually lets you touch! Just think of what you could INVESTIGATE! They won't tell you off either cos they'll have missed you so much!

Aaahwww, shame. You look very sad. But I'm sure he will be back soon. In the meantime you can drive Mom crazy when she is home. Doesn't that sound like fun?

Ceci, you are a dear. Mommy is definitely doing her part to help. She came home at lunch and as soon as she came home she played with us nonstop, and took us for a stroller ride. We had fun. Cooper's doing a little better. Thanks. MonkeyB

Actually - she is going away this weekend to a cat show. Hmmmpf - dont know why she needs to go off lookin' at all them other cats when she has us!
